OUR 2nd ANNIVERSARY & A GIVEAWAY!

It was two years ago today that I signed my Articles of Incorporation to form TINSEL & COMPANY INC.  A dream I had for many, many years was finally realized!  There is so much more to a business than looking at fun catalogs and scouring the internet looking for great unique product.  Of course I knew that there was much more to it, the accounting, the budgetingm the marketing, the day to day issues...  Somethings I struggle with (accounting...), the marketing, buying, and customer service I LOVE.
Unlike a traditional retail store an online store is a lonely existence.  My husband really doesn't care that the new Bethany Lowe catalog arrived today or that I am head over heals in LOVE with a feather tree.  That is where all of you come in.  This blog, opens the door to my little store and introduces me to all of you.   I am a stay at home mom of 3 - 3 year olds (yes they are all 3, for another 3 weeks anyway) and everytime I hear my blackberry or computer chime the anticipation of a comment left on this blog or that an order just came in keeps me sane.  Each comment or order reminds me that there is more to life than Dora the Explorer.  THANK YOU!

Someday I hope that you can visit my cute store on the picturesque street I have imagined in my mind.  Until then thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world-wide web,  you mean the world to me!

Sorry about the delay.  I couldn't remember what random number generator I used last time so I googled it and ended up with a VIRUS!!! I had to wait for my hubby to get home and fix my mess.  Luckily it wasn't too bad.  I know better, I never download anything or click on anything suspicious.  It was a cute craft blog and when I clicked on the link it sent my computer into chaos opening all sorts of windows and beeping at me.

THE WINNER IS...

Happy Monday everyone!  Well, I hope it is happier than the weekend... My little Logan got sick on Saturday and I haven't really slept since then... Nothing serious just a bad head cold but at 3 1/2 when you can't breathe through your nose and sleep with your mouth open wake up with a dry mouth it is like the end of the world.  Logan is my least favorite patient...oh the drama of it all!

This week is off to a better start, he is finally asleep, fingers crossed his sisters don't get sick!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS & A GIVEAWAY!

My intention was not to disappear over the holidays but with company for two weeks, our wedding anniversary, Christmas, filling orders and countless other projects this blog was regretfully ignored... I should be working on my website but instead it is 1:15 am and I am watching Steel Magnolias for the millionth time (I think I could recite the entire movie...), playing around with Facebook and catching up on all of my blog reading.
