DECK THE HALLS FRIDAY - Christmas Bells

Welcome to Deck the Halls Friday!

I heard this week that there are only 11 weeks until Christmas! There is so much to do...

I have been pinning away, neglecting everything I am supposed to be doing, and came upon a fun set of vintage bells made from Christmas cards. Late last night I had to create my own.

Not perfected yet, but not bad considering I started this project at 10 o'clock at night.  The originals were crocheted, I did a simple blanket stitch using enbroidery floss.  The images I used were found on Pinterest

Below are the inspiration bells

I think these are so sweet, reminds me of something that my aunt made back in the 70's.

Next week I will show you my completed project.

  5. These DO look like some ornaments I remember from the 60s and 70s! Great idea to use embroidery floss to put together, too!
