It's Party Time! - "OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT"

The girls will be 4 next month and we are in full-blown "party planning mode".  This week's theme...OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT?!?!  For months they have been talking about Rapunzel and Snow White, then it was Dumbo and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party...now it is Dumbo and Oswald...

It all started with this guy:

You can get him at the DISNEY STORE

Emma LOVES rabbits, Mickey Mouse, and the color blue.  When she saw him she went CRAZY.  We watched a couple shorts on YouTube and she was hooked.  Out went the Mad Hatter's Tea Party in came Oswald.  Not the easiest to work with but this is what we have come up with so far.

images from google collage by me

Colors:
Black, White, Gray and Blue

Decorations:
Black & White Honeycomb Decorations and Streamers (can't get enough honeycomb)
Blue Tablecloth, Black & White cupcakes with Oswald picks
Silver Mylar Balloons with Oswald images (thank you Martha for the inspiration)

Possible Activities:
Pin the tail on Oswald
Painting project (per Emma's request)
Horseshoes or some type of toss game
Musical Pass the Rabbit (hot potato with the stuffed Oswald)

Emma is a girl that knows what she wants so I think this one will stick.  Now the hard part...Kate still wants a Dumbo party...two party themes, one party, two girls, one day... I know I will loose sleep over this!

Best wishes,
Tammy

  4. Hey! I'm an Oswald researcher and stumbled over your blog by accident. Do you need some more Oswald images for the party?
Here's my (woefully out of date) blog, with a few Oswald items included:
