Welcome to DECK THE HALLS FRIDAY!
This week I am inspired by PINECONES. I heart pinecones! They were a huge part of my wedding, I collect them everywhere I go and at one point my master bedroom had a pinecone and acorn theme. As summer is winding down and my Americana decor goes away the house is left feeling a bit blah...too early for pumpkins and Halloween (as much as it pains me not to display all of the fantastic goodies that are getting ready to go into the
shop). I am breaking out the pinecones. Filling vases, hanging garlands, nestling them amongst my mercury glass and tucking them into bookcases.
Here is a little PINECONE INSPIRATION...

I will probably leave them up until mid September when Halloween comes out and bring them back in November for Thanksgiving, add some ornaments, tinsel, and glitter and I am ready for Christmas.
Now it's your turn! Each Friday join our DECK THE HALLS FRIDAY LINKY PARTY!
1. Share your pre-holiday goals, projects, great finds, collections, or gift ideas (doesn't need to have a Christmas theme)
2. Link back to a post from years past
3. Share a project you have been wanting to try (if it's not your original idea be sure to give gredit where credit is due)
4. Please link your post back to this one. If you would like grab the DECK THE HALLS image on my sidebar and added it to your sidebar or post (I will create an actual button one of these days...)
5. Be sure to add the link to your specific post and not your blog
and finally...
INSPIRE & BE INSPIRED |
I love pinecones too. We have a two giant ones that I decorate with from time to time. That fireplace pic has an idea I might try, putting them in little urns, how cool.
ReplyDeleteNothing to link up right now. Talk to you soon.
