ADVENTURES IN POTTY TRAINING

So here I am day 3 of potty training. The girls (2 1/2) are NOT ready. The idea of not wearing a diaper was very confusing to them. Monday morning Kate was doing great an accident but she was heading to the potty and didn't make it. Emma was defiant as ever and protested the whole concept. I stayed patient with them even when she brought me a soccer ball covered in poop. Yes, you read correctly a SOCCER BALL COVERED IN POOP. I am in the bathroom with Logan and Emma comes to me holding the ball with a nice surprise.

I ask: "Emma, did you do this?"

Her reply: "No"

I ask: "Did Kate do it?"

She says: "No Mommy, Hop Hop did."
(Hop Hop is Emma's faithful stuffed companion)
IT WAS DISGUSTING!

Here we are day 3 and Logan is doing great. After multiple tries I think we got it this time. The girls will just have to wait. I thought maybe once they saw Logan doing well they would jump on board too. Maybe next week.

Well enough potty talk for one day...
