VALENTINE PROJECT

I absolutely love these little cards by Bethany Lowe Designs. Last year I decided to make ornaments for my feather tree.

Start with a box of valentines, any cute card will do.

First, cut the card apart.
Create a cardboard template that is about 1/2" smaller than the card.
Cut out and adhere cardboard to card using double stick tape.

(Cardboard acts as a guide for the crepe paper ruffle and a spacer between the front and back of the ornament)

Next, spread glue (Mod Podge works great) onto the card (away from the cardboard). Fold crepe paper in half and gather around the cardboard template creating the ruffle.

To hang the ornament attach a piece of ribbon to the un-ruffled card using double stick tape.I used a 7" piece of double faced satin ribbon. Then spread Mod Podge to the cardboard heart and put the two sides together.

This set of cards is listed in my eBay store and will also be available at tinselshop.com later in the week.

Happy crafting!

Best wishes,
Tammy
