WAITING FOR A HOME

I thought it might be fun to change gears and focus on something other than all the fabulous things I have in my store. After three long months we have finally closed on our new house and I can finally decorate!

This chandelier has been sitting on my dining room table for weeks waiting for its new home in our new house. Expo Center is sadly closing but happily this lovely was still waiting there for me along with matching sconces! I had been dreaming of it for months but it was out of my budget.(oh, the hours spent searching for the perfect one - admittedly I enjoyed every minute!)

I am so excited to share my decorating adventure. I am knee deep in fabric and paint swatches (totally in my element).

FYI - the odd angle of the photo wasn't intended to be artistic it is intended to hide all the junk on the table...

MUST SEE!

Hubby and I had a much needed child-free date Friday night, dinner and a movie. Dinner was ok, we did see the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I must say SEE IT! Admittedly it is long but it moves quickly and it is probably the best film I have seen in a VERY long time. Go while it is still in theaters it is beautiful on the big screen. Even Hubby loved it and he is always very critical. See it, see it, see it!

MARCH ALREADY!

Where does time go? I can't believe that we are already a week into March. There have been so many posts I have wanted to write, Logan's first "real" haircut, U2's new cd (which is amazing), and.....
